You Have My Heart
Hey Y'all!!! Teresa here with another fabulous stamp set and die from the new Loveable Collection at Ink N' Splatter. Aren't they just the sweetest things. I began by coloring these sweet little mice on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.

I started by making the card base from a beautiful old olive card stock that matched the patterned paper and their little outfits perfectly. The card base is 8 1/2 x 4 1/4, scored at 4 1/2 on the long side. Make sure you use your bone folder and burnish the fold well so it doesn't tear the fold.
I cut a two beautiful pieces from Ink N' Splatter's Raspberry Crush patterned paper pad. I used the 6 x 6 paper but it also comes in a Slimline version. How cool is that? The stripe piece is cut to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8. It's glued to the card base with wet glue right in the center. I used the Cloud Frame die to cut a piece that would surround these two little mice. This paper pack has so many beautiful Valentine colors and designs. Make sure you get one for yourself.
Before I glued the Cloud Frame down to the patterned paper I used as the background I cut a few grasses from Old Olive using the Small Leaf Die. These are glued with wet glue to the back side of the Cloud Frame. I placed them on the outsides and in the center so they didn't cover up these cute little mice.
Figure out where you want the little mice to be on the background and glue them down with wet glue. I made sure their feet were behind the Cloud Frame to ground them. Once the mice are i place, glue the Cloud Frame down to the background. It should be the same size as the Old Olive card base.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set. There are four great sentiments to choose from. I fussy cut it in a double sided flag shape, glued it to a piece of Old Olive card stock and mimicked the same outline. It's popped up with foam tape.
Last thing I added 5 little Merry Merlot hearts floating up in the air.
