Snowflake Kisses

Hey Y'all!!! I'm obsessed with these two! They just make me smile. These guys are part of the Snowflake Kisses Winter stamp set and the matching die from Ink N' Splatter. Wouldn't you love to be out in the snow with them? All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

I began by coloring this cute little snowman and snowbunny on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.

COPIC MARKERS:
• Snowman & Snowbunny (R22, R21, R20, R11, E15, E13, E11, 100, B0000, 0, White Gel Pen, Gold Gel Pen)
PAPER & EVERYTHING ELSE
• Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb Paper
• Card Stock - Metallic Gold, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Acetate
• Designer Paper - Painted With Love
• Dies - Stitched So Sweetly, Connected Hearts, Notched Rectangles, Slimline Everyday Borders
• Foam Tape, Bearly Art Craft Glue, Foam Adhesive Strips, Peach & Clear Sprinkles

I started by making the card base from a beautiful shiny gold card stock that matched the patterned paper and their little outfits perfectly. The card base is 8 1/2 x 4 1/4, scored at 4 1/2 on the long side. Just a helpful tip - Make sure you used your bone folder to crease the score line well so the gold paper doesn't tear.

I cut a beautiful piece of patterned paper from Painted with Love to 5 1/4 x 4. I glued it with wet glue to a piece of Calypso Coral cut to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". These two are glued to the gold base.

I cut a piece of Petal Pink with notched rectangles die. I cut some little snowy hills with the Slimline Everyday Borders. Glued them on the back of the Petal Pink rectangle to look like snow. Of course it ended up as a shaker card filled with beautiful clear & peach sprinkles, some are hearts. How fun. The rectangle has a clear window sheet glued to the back to keep any of those little sequins stinkers from escaping because you know they love to do that. Tip - If you get any glue on the acetate you can wipe it off with a baby wipe, being careful not to get the card stock too wet.

Glued a connected heart of Calypso Coral to the front of the shaker and popped up these two friends on top of the snow. It looks like they are having so much fun!! What do you think they are talking about?

Snowflake Kisses has such cute sentiments. I chose 'Snowflake Kisses' but there are 7 to choose from. Cut it out with a Stitched So Sweetly die and popped it up on top of the acetate.

Snowflakes are coming! Wish I was outdoors with these two, don't you?.
