Nothing Better Than Coffee With My Gnomie

Hey Y'all!!! Teresa here.  I love Gnomes! And I love my gnomies. Nothing better than having a little coffee with them is there? Maybe with a cinnamon roll! (Hehehe) Be sure to check out all the fun stamp and die sets at Ink N' Splatter! All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

I began by coloring these little gnomes on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.

Here are the links for both the Stamp & Die sets:

I started by making the card base from a piece of Basic White card stock. The card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/2 on the long side. Just a helpful tip - Make sure you used your bone folder to crease the score line well so the card stock doesn't tear.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock at 5 3/16" x 4 1/8". I taped the card stock down on some scrap paper and swiped all three Oxide inks across it. I used Kitsch Flamingo, Twisted Citron and Faded Jeans. This layer is wet glued to the card base right in the center. Another tip: Make sure you let it dry good before you touch it very much. And maybe wash your hands. Don't want to get Oxide ink on the other pieces of white paper. I cut a designer heard in Basic White card stock as well and glued it down to the inked paper with wet glue.

I used yet another piece of Basic White card stock to make the frame. Using my big shot I first cut it with the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangles dies. Once that was done I cut the scalloped inside using the second largest of the Scalloped Rectangles dies. I used E.Z.C Highlighter Tape to hold the scalloped die in place in the center. Thought it made a beautiful border. The frame is popped up with strips of Foam Adhesive Strips.

I used the largest oval die in the Stitched Shapes die set to cut out the gnomies, but you can use whatever shape you would like or use the matching die set which would be cool too. My little gnomies are popped up with foam tape and stuck to the background a little off center of the frame to allow room for the sentiment.

Gnome-A-Latte has 6 fun sentiments. I chose 'Nothing Better Than Coffee With My Gnomie'. So true isn't it?

Enjoy that coffee!
