Keep Smiling

Hey Y'all!!! Here again with another fabulous stamp set and die from the new Lovable Collection at Ink N' Splatter. He is so cute and is part of the Lovable Pandas set. Just want to give him a big squeeze. Certainly a big smile.. Be sure to go take a look at the new release including stamps, dies & paper packs from Ink N' Splatter today. All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

I began by coloring this sweet little panda on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.

COPIC MARKERS:
• Panda (C10, C8, C6, C1, 100, 0, R22, R21, R30, R20)
• Heart (R29. R27)
• Snapdragons (G46, R22)
PAPER & EVERYTHING ELSE
• Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb Paper
• Card Stock - Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo
• Patterned Paper - Wonky Halloween
• Dies - Wonky Window, Cresent Moon & Star, Snapdragons, Slimline Everyday Borders II
• Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
• Foam Tape, Bearly Art Craft Glue, Corner Rounder

Here are the links for both the Stamp & Die sets:

I started by making the card base from a piece of basic black card stock that matched the background of the patterned paper I chose. I always choose my patterned paper first and match the colors to it. Then I'm never looking for a piece that matches the colors I've already chosen. The card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 on the long side. Make sure you use your bone folder and burnish the fold well so it doesn't tear the fold.

I cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo with the Wonky Window Die. I cut another piece with the patterned paper from Wonky Halloween in order to get all three center pieces with the stars. All of the pieces cut with the die are glued down flat with wet glue.

The patterned paper pack was originally created for Halloween but I love using paper that was meant for one purpose in another. Too fun. Make sure you get one for yourself.

Here is the link for the paper pack:

I cut some greenery using the snapdragons die, colored them with copic markers and glued them down with wet glue on top of the patterned paper in the lower window. I glued the little Panda down in the middle and glue a piece of grass cut from Garden Green with the Everyday Borders II Die. I cut a little star from Flirty Flamingo and wet glued it flat in the middle window.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. There are seven great sentiments to choose from. I cut it out in the same shape as the top window and wet glued it in place.

Last thing I added some little glitter dots. Why? Well because I can of course.

Who makes you smile?
