Hoppy Easter

Hey Y'all!!! Teresa here.  What fun we are having over at Ink N' Splatter with our new Easter release. Be sure to come check them all out. I'm showcasing 'Easter Bunnies'. Two bunnies, two little cute chicks, Easter eggs and more. 'Hoppy Easter' to you! All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

Here are the links for both the Stamp & Die sets:

I started by making the card base from a bright pink piece of Polished Pink card stock that matched the patterned paper and their little outfits perfectly. The card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/2 on the long side. Just a helpful tip - Make sure you used your bone folder to crease the score line well so the gold paper doesn't tear.

I cut two beautiful pieces of patterned paper from Easter Egg-Plosion to 5 1/4 x 4. I used the Nested Egg Dies to cut two of the largest, one from each piece of paper. I glued one egg to the piece of Polished Pink with wet glue. I covered it with a piece of acetate cut to 5 1/4 x 4 so the little balls in the shaker wouldn't catch on the edges. The acetate is held in place with double sided clear tape.

Of course it ended up as a shaker card filled with fun little balls of Easter colors. The egg has a clear window sheet glued to the back to keep any of those little stinkers from escaping because you know they love to do that. The front of the shaker is popped up with some strips of foam tape around the edges and around the outline of the egg. Tip - If you get any glue on the acetate you can wipe it off with a baby wipe, being careful not to get the card stock too wet.

I cut some eggs using the smallest die in the nested eggs set and one of the second smallest. Decorated them with a white gel pen and glued them to the bottom front of the egg. The cute little bunnies are nestled in between the eggs with wet glue.

The Easter Bunnies stamp set has 5 fun sentiments that you can mix and match. I love 'Hoppy Easter'. What would you use?

These two look like they are having so much fun!
