Have A Sunshiny Day
Hey Y'all!!! This fabulous little girl is part of the New Sizzling Summer release at Ink 'N' Splatter. The new release includes two fun new stamp & die sets as well as three new paper pads. This particular little girl is part of the Summertime Pups stamp set. I paired her with the new and fabulous Happy Summer Paper Pad. So many fun patterns. Be sure to check them all out. All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).
I began by coloring this cute little girl on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.
I started by making the card base from a piece of Crushed Curry card stock. The card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/2" on the long side. Just a helpful tip - Make sure you use your bone folder to crease the score line well so the card stock doesn't tear.
For the bottom layer I cut a piece of Balmy Blue card stock to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" and glued it to the card base with Bearly glue.
I cut three pieces of the Happy Summer patterned paper using the Peekaboo Window 4 die. I layered them so that the outside piece was glued flat and the small square in the upper left corner and the circles were raised up with a little foam tape.
I used the Bright Rays stencil and a little Champagne Gold Stencil Butter to create a beautiful sunrise. I cut a little square piece and tucked it in behind her in the lower right window.

My little summertime girl is popped up with foam tape on top of the sun. I stamped the 'Sunshiny Day' sentiment in Crushed Curry ink and cut it out with one of my favorite sentiment die sets. It's popped up with foam tape too.
For a little extra shiny stuff, which you know I love, I added the fabulous sun glasses and some dots on top of the circles.
I'd love to be hanging with her!
