Live Like Someone Left The Gate Open
Hey Y'all!!! Teresa here. Happy Saturday! Oh I love these little cows. They are so 'Udderly Fabulous'. Four cute little cows, five sentiments and some other fun stamps are included. Be sure to check them out. All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).
I colored all the images on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.
Once I had the images of the cute little cows & fences colored, I used the Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and Ink N' Splatters Birch Tree stencils to create the beautiful background. It is cut to 5 1/4" x 4".
I started with some black card stock to match the cows. Perfect background color to make the card base. The base is cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" on the long side. Make sure you use your bone folder to burnish the fold so the card stock doesn't tear.
I cut a piece of basic white card stock to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". I glued the white card stock down to the black card base and glued the birch trees background down to the white card base with wet glue.
I cut two pieces of garden green using the grass border in the Everyday Borders die set. The larger piece is glued flat to the birch trees background. The smaller piece is raised up with foam tape in the front. The two larger cows are glued flat to the background with their hooves deep in the grass. The smaller cow is popped up in the front hill of grass.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set. There are several to choose from. I chose 'Live Like Someone Left The Gate Open'. Cut it out with one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Die Set.
I used some silver stars and Turquoise Stickles to light up the sky. You can't ever having enough sparkle.
